Gilda Gazor is an attorney at BD&J, PC and a member of the in-house trial team led by Olivier Taillieu, that handles some of the most complex cases, including wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, catastrophic automobile accidents, premise liability and other cases involving severe orthopedic injuries.
Gilda is passionate about fighting for the rights of injury victims against big corporations and their insurance companies. As a former immigration attorney, Gilda has significant experience fighting for the underdog and helping underserved communities.
Gilda received her undergraduate degree from the University of California, Los Angles (UCLA), majoring in Political Science, minoring in Public Policy and Spanish. While at UCLA, Gilda studied overseas at the Complutense University, Madrid. Gilda then attended Southwestern Law School where she was a member of the Trial Advocacy Honors Program and studied Comparative Law at the Sorbonne University in Paris.
After graduating law school, Gilda completed a fellowship studying law in Iran, receiving her L.L.M. at Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran. Gilda then returned to teach at her alma mater, Southwestern, as an Associate Professor of Law, teaching Comparative Constitutional Law. After years of teaching, Gilda returned to Iran to travel the entire country, hosted a television show, and gave a TEDx talk about her experience.
Gilda is fluent in English, Spanish, Persian and proficient in French. Her varied background, language ability and international experience allow her to connect with the wide range of clients at BD&J.
