Jesse E. French is an attorney with BD&J’s wrongful death and catastrophic injury practice group. He specializes in major personal injury litigation, with an emphasis on vehicle collisions, unsafe property, and unsafe products. Jesse is a skilled and accomplished advocate who has recovered over $100 million on behalf of his clients.
During his career, Jesse has been honored with memberships in the National Trial Lawyers Top 40 under 40 and America’s Top 100 Personal Injury Attorneys. He is also part of the select group of lawyers in California who have been named as Super Lawyers Rising Stars. Only 2.5 percent of California attorneys are selected for this honor.
Jesse’s accomplishments reflect his specialized training in trial advocacy. Jesse is a graduate of the Trojan Horse Method Trial Workshop, the ABOTA Jack Daniels Trial Academy, and the inaugural class of the CAALA Trial Academy. Jesse also completed a prestigious fellowship with the American Board of Trial Advocates, which included a placement with the Honorable Daniel Buckley of the Los Angeles Superior Court.
Jesse is driven by his strong commitment to serving people and communities who need help. When he is not working, this commitment has led him to spend time mentoring first year law students and high school speech and debate students. Jesse has also served on the Board of the Western Center on Law and Poverty and is a member of the Harry S. Truman Foundation—a highly-selective organization dedicated to promoting public service. Jesse also participates in a variety of other organizations, including the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles, the Consumer Attorneys of California, and the UCLA Law Alumni Association.
Jesse is a graduate of UCLA School of Law where he served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pacific Basin Law Journal.
